Welcome to ...

The Catt Box!

Thank you for visiting my web site.

Bad News...

I have some sad news to share. On February 14, 2009 I had to have my favorite cat Cecil put to sleep. This is so devastating to me and my boyfriend Tom.

Cecil was the BEST cat I ever had.

And he was with me every day and night for 11 years. And when you spend THAT much time with a pet, you get very close. He was so strange, so comical, so ornery, so entertaining.

The mornings are so hard because he always shared my tea and buttered toast for breakfast.

I will always miss Cecil...he was THE best cat I could ever hope for.

Here's a link to his own two website pages.

Cecil

And here's Catt Nips!

I used to have little tidbits and adventures about my cats on most of my auctions on eBay. I compiled them all into one section so I could share them with everyone. If you like cats, you'll enjoy Catt Nips!.

My name is Catt Alexander and I would like to share some things with you. I have two grown children, and two male cats, Simon and Oboe.

Last year I broke my right femur. OUCH! I have the whole story of what happened and my recovery AND my brand  new 'C-Legs' written on the Latest Scoop From The Cattbox page.

Anyway....I used to mention that I was married, but after 18 years of marriage my husband walked out on me.

But now I'm happy to say that I'm finally divorced!

YAY!

And I've returned to my maiden name...so my name is now Catt Alexander. I didn't bother with a middle name.

I'm getting on with my life and I'm doing just fine.

I am in a wonderful relationship with a great man named Tom.

So, we're TomCatt.

I still have to update this website and I'll do so whenever I can find the time.

My joys include sewing and designing Goth and Primitive Folk Art ugly dolls to sell on eBay and here on my website. I have begun a new section on my website dedicated to some of the dolls I've made. It's called The Catt's Ugly Babies! But please keep in mind, my dolls are not for everyone.

I added yet another new section that I'm still putting together....

Dolls that are available for sale!

I'll be presenting dolls for sale as they become available. I don't take special orders because I simply don't have the time. Plus, I don't like working on commission. Making something from someone else's vision isn't as enjoyable as making something from my OWN vision. And if I don't have my heart into it, I don't have the motivation or the joy to do it.

But I'll do my very best to make as many available here as I can. I'm just getting started!  Take a look!

   ON SALE!

Selected dolls are now on sale!

Anyway, I also enjoy baking, sewing singing, painting, canning foods, photography, working on my book, making dolls, and taking care of my home.

I am one of four female amputees in my family. This is not the focus of my website, and it is not the focus of my life, either. It's just a small part of who I am...but it IS a part of me.

I do explain my situation on this website, but that's only because I mentioned it and it's only fair that I explain it.

I am not in a wheelchair, I don't have crutches, a walker or even a cane. I walk very well on two artificial legs. This is all I've ever known and I live a very full life.

Anyway, I like to do impersonations of Marilyn Monroe and Stevie Nicks  for my friends and I LOVE to sing!

I have a variety of things to offer on my website....recipes, poems, stories, tons of pictures, etc.

Enjoy your visit!
